Here is a piece of conversation between a student and his professor.

Student: Professor, I can’t find enough reference material for my research paper. There is hardly any book published on the topic, only some magazines and newspaper articles.

Professor: That should be enough.

Student: But, the assignment says that I must refer to at least five academic sources.

Professor: By academic, I don’t mean just books. If an article is well-written and provides comprehensive information, it’ll do just fine.

Student: Oh. I didn’t know that. Thanks for clarifying this point.
