The auxiliary verbs has and have are used in the present tense to indicate ideas such as possession, relationships and physical characteristics.
- She has blue eyes.
- They have a tea estate.
- She has a sweet personality.
Has and have are also used to form present perfect tenses.
- They have finished the job.
- He has received the parcel.
Use have when the subject is a plural noun or the pronouns I, we, they or you.
Use has when the subject is a singular noun or the pronouns he, she or it.
